Lulubelle's Clothing was opened in November 2012 in the leafy, ecletic suburb of Edge Hill, Cairns, Queensland by Beck Child.
With a huge desire to provide what the community wanted to meet their fashion needs and a creative desire for unique but affordable fashion products, Lulubelle's was born...on a minimal budget and a big heart.
Lulubelles's provides unique, comment-worthy clothing all under an affordable price tag ($99), with a focus on comfortable, stylish clothing.
With a focus on giving back. In the first year of trade, Lulubelle's supported 7 girls who were victims of sex trafficking in Thailand.
Lulubelle's home brand 'Love Lulubelle's' was created through a willingness to give back to women. With every purchase of our products we give back weekly to women in need in the community by providing a pamper pack and free styling session. 'Love Lulubelle's' recognises the journey towards a beautiful life begins with empowering women to feel confident and loved.
Beck Child, the founder of Love Lulubelles, spent many years travelling through Asia and India and was faced first hand with the poverty that exists in the world. After spending time in Thailand, she worked hands on with Destiny Rescue designing her first shift dress. These were made by women who had been rescued from sex trafficking and now had a regular and reliable income and pride in themselves.
After working for 15 years in the fashion Industry in Australia and starting her first boutique as a broke single mother on $4000, Beck soon became mindful of the products she was selling. With a driving desire to give back and do her bit in the world, Beck created her own clothing range.
Love Lulubelle's products are designed in Australia and made by a family in Bali who support 3 women tailors giving otherwise unemployed women the ability to support their families and create a livelihood. All our fabrics are made locally in Bali. Our designs are unique each tailored to create classic fits for the everyday women,
We encourage you to not only love our products but to be a part of creating a better planet for women in need.
